The peerage #190985, Nicholas Burnell, 1st Lord Burnell, M, b. circa 1323, d. 19 January 1382/83, Last Edited=23 May 2006. Nicholas Burnell, 1st Lord Burnell was born circa 1323. He was the son of John de Haudlo and Maud Burnell. He married Mary (?) before 12 July 1339. He died on 19 January 1382/83. He was given the name of Nicholas de Haudlo at birth. In 1348 his name was legally changed to Nicholas Burnell. He was created 1st Lord Burnell [England by writ] on 24 November 1350. On 15 May 1355 he had seisin of his father's lands.
