Note:   (Research):I hope this comes out OK - my Leicester cousin sent it yesterday My Grandma Hannah Mary Hart, born 1876, is the girl sitting on the ground to the front, my great Aunt Julia (Julia Ann) was born in abt 1878 and is also sitting and is on the right of the picture. They had 3 other sisters - perhaps the girls in white blouses. Their father was William Hart born about 1834, the son of Anthony (1802) and William Doubleday Hart's nephew. Who the ladies in black are (? mourning) I do not know - judging from "family deaths" they are unlikely to be on the paternal side - so are not Harts. I do not really remember my Grandma or Aunt Julia - they must have been fairly well off as they were farmers daughters and Aunt Julia had a house at Chapel St Leonards (Chapel point) on the Lincolnshire Coast - There was a tennis court in the sand dunes - before my time. "Aunt" Julia as we called her lived close to my grandparents in Ingarsby drive Leicester and I think that she owned the "spinney" that separated her house from my Grandma's house. I just remember as a small child cutting through a gap in the hedge and going through the woods. Grandma married George Edward Woodcock (the only son of Alfred Woodcock) in 1900 - When Alfred died in 1910 he left over 30,000. He started in 1870 with only his apprenticeship, but then Methodists were allowed to work. So the Harts not only made money, but they married well! Hope it is of interest.
