Note: 1. Became a tenant farmer in the Skeffling Parish of East Riding York between April 1814 and April 1815, working the land of Mrs. Brough. 2. Left the farm in Skeffling Parish between April 1824 and June 1824. This must be when the family went to St. Remi, Napierville, Quebec, Canada. 3. Listed on the tax roll of Skeffling, East Yorkshire, England in April 1824. 4. Purchased lot no. 22 in Saint Constant Parish, Quebec, Canada from James McDonald by deed dated 24 June 1824 5. On 16 February 1826, Notary, Felix-Hector Leblanc, made a property inventory after the death of Abraham. 6. Abraham's son, Abraham Atkinson , Jr., purchased 1/2 of the same property from his mother, Mary (Dunn) Atkinson by act of deed dated 13 May 1839, but it was then in St. Remi Parish, Quebec, Canada. Abraham, Jr. was living there in the 1851 census.
