 She was married in 1879 to Thomas Hardy. Marriage license issued in Lee County. Name shown as Lizzie.
 1880 census, Columbus, Georgia, lists Elizabeth living with Thomas and her 16 year old brother, John.
 She signed as a witness when Aunt Bessie got married in 1907.
 She died in 1909 at Girard. Newspaper death notice was found in the Bradley Library.

  The funeral of Mrs. Elizabeth Hardy whose death occurred in Girard Saturday morning, took place Sunday morning at 9 o'clock, the services being conducted by the Rev. J.W. Reinhardt.
  The interment was in Girard cemetery and the following gentlemen were the pallbearers. Messers: C.W. Wyatt, W.E. Turnage. W.D. Turnage, E.M. Moore, G.C. Hilyer and Carol Moore.
