Not sure this is the right one. Spelling has the "t". Leather book gives Wm's birthdate as 1827. The book lists James and Edward as being killed in the war; but not William. James and Edward were members of the 47th.

 Tim,
My husband's grandmother was Jackie May Johnson, b 1891, daughter of William Howell Johnson, b. 1851. William was
the son of William Johnson, b. 6-30-1823 d. 1896 and Martha Jane Howell b. 1823. They also had a son, James Thomas Johnson, b. 1860, d. 1940. This info came from a family history paper that gives lots of names and dates but no locations! Included is a handwritten summary that references a Huff family member that was killed by lightning between Hallonville and Williamson, and that the Whenry family lived near Williamson, Pike County, GA.
