Marriage: Children:
  1. Dorothy Gordon Walker: Birth: 25 Jun 1896 in Memphis,Shelby Co.,TN. Death: 11 Jan 1976 in Knoxville,Knox Co.,TN

a. Note:   They were married in Grace Episcopal Church. Blanche Cox wrote that "she must have been born in 1862 for she was 45 when she passed same age as our mother; they had one girl Dorothy Walker. The first time she had taken off mourning since mother passes - she and Dorothy dressed up and went to her best friend's wedding at the Church (Central Baptist). Just as the wedding march was being played she sank down between the pews in a faint - was carried up stairs in a tiny little room dead. Amy my sister and I were there and such a sad sight to see that little 10 year Dorothy crying over her mother. Don't think Dorothy would know much about the family being so young - staying first with a housekeeper - with us as often as her father would let her and finally a stepmother. Her name is Mrs. Joe Kirby....
