Visiting at Charlet Funeral Home, Zachary, 8:30 am to religious services at 10 am, Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. Gary Belsome. Burial in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker. Survived by husband, Raymond V. Roop, Baker; three daughter, Marjorie R. Pearce, Ponchatoula, Gloria A. Roop, LaPlace, Ruthie P. Griffin, Frierson; a son, Michael R. Roop, Baton Rouge; two sisters, Dorothy "Tookie" Wysor, Slaughter, and Kathleen "Susie" Ory (sic), Baker; three brothers, George "Shorty" Ory, Virgil "Baby" Ory and Albert "Doc" Ory, all of Baker; and five grandchildren. Preceded in death by two brothers, Norman G. Ory and Reginald "Scrap" Ory; and a sister, Gloria "Chuttie" Cameron. Pallbearers will be Bill Griffin, Bob and Doug Pearce, Albert, Bill, George, Randall and Jack Daniel Ory. She was a member of St. Isadore Catholic Church, Baker. Memorial donations may be made to Capitol Hospice Care, 10500 Coursey Blvd, Suite 107, Baton Rouge, 70816.
