He was a very bright little boy full of good humor (and not above a little mischief!). He dearly loved baseball and was a good player, until his weakened condition made it impossible for him to play. After that he would umpire for the games on the street. While he was able, Johnny had a newspaper route, and a puppy named Spunky, who was killed by a car one day while acompanying Johnny on his paper route. Johnny was heartbroken. Johnny had been a server on the altar at St. Mary's, and when he died, his mother had him buried in a cassock and surplice. - writen by his uncle Charlie Bucher *** Source Ohio Deaths 1908-1953 http://fsbeta.familysearch.org/s/recordDetails/show/21135703 Name John Clement Bucher Death Date 16 Feb 1940 Death Place Dayton, Montgomery, Ohio Birth Date 01 Aug 1926 Birth Place Dayton, Ohio Gender Male Father's Name Clement J.
