a. Note:   *** Source Hans Albert Bosch - mailed Feb 8, 2006 Albert B?sch served in the military and was stationed in the then German Alsace, where the first 5 children were born. Later he joined the Gendarmerie in Bruchsal, then served in the then German Lorrain region, where the last 5 children were born. He retired in Tauberbischofsheim, the lived in retirement in Mahlberg where he died. *** Source Hans Albert Bosch - mailed Feb 8, 2006 As a result of World War I the family of Albert and Luise B?sch relocates from the now French region of Lorrain and resettles in Tauberbischofsheim/Baden in Germany The parens retire in Mahlberg. The eldest son Albert, eventually settles in Neustadt/Black Forest. Rosa gets married and move to Ober-lahnstein on the Rhine. Emil moves via Baden-Baden, settling in D?sseldorf. Bernard works in the Ruhr basin, then emmigrated to the United States in 1923. Anton moves from Tauyberbischofsheim to the United States in 1922, the first one to emmigrate. Luise married and lived in Mosbach, Ladenburg and now in Lahnstein. Josef moved as a youngster from Tauberbischofsheim to the United States in 1924. Martin eventuraly settled in Neckargem?nd near Heidelberg. Gertrude and Wilhelm died as infants. Anton and Josef Bosch settled in New Haven, Connecticut in 1922 and 1924 respectively. Bernhard Bosch settled in Bronxville, a suburb of New York City. Following World War II Hans-Albert Bosch also settled in New Haven, then lived in Minneapolis, Minnesota and Chicago, Illinois. Denver, Colorado All 4 members of the family americanized their name by dropping the umlaut.
