Notes
a. Note:   NI90777
Note:   He is listed at Schoenwiese #14 in the Census of 1816. He is listed at Schoenwiese #17 in the 1795 Census. We are assuming that this is the same Franz Jantz(en) who has children in Rosenkrantz, and recorded in the Tragheimerweide Church records, but who disappears from that congregation after 1791. The Franz Jantzen of Schoenwiese appears there first in 1795. Schapansky conjectures that he was a son of Peter Jantzen of the Thiensdorf Church.
In the 1795 Chortitza Colony Census he is listed at Schoenwiese #17 (B. H. Unruh, p. 14). In the 1801 Census he is listed at Schoenwiese 15. In the 1808 Census, the 1816 Schoeniese Census, and the Oct 1816 Chortitza Colony Census he is listed at Schoenwiese #14 (B. H. Unruh, p. 274). It has been assumed that this is the same Franz Jantz(en) who has children in Rosenkrantz and who was recorded in the Tragheimerweide Church Records, but who disappears from that congregation after 1791. Henry Schapansky conjecturesthat he was a son of Peter Jantzen of the Thiensdorf Church.
