  Newton Kansan - 5-11-2000: A card shower is being requested in honor of Newton resident Jonathan Stucky's 80th birthday, which is May 22. On Nov. 22, 1945, he married Della Flickinger. They lived and farmed in the Burns area until moving to Peabody in 1978. He worked as a bus driver and as a custodian for the Peabody-Burns school district before retiring. They moved to Newton in February 1999. His children and their spouses are: Jennifer and Charlie Brenzikofer, Don and Jen Stucky, Barb and Dave Richmond, and Deb and Randy Windsor. He has 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
  Hutch News - 6-9-2003: NEWTON - Jonathan P.I. "Jonas" Stucky, 83, died June 6, 2003, at Newton Medical Center. He was born May 22, 1920, at Moundridge, the son of Peter and Ida Gehring Stucky. A Newton resident since 1999, formerly of Moundridge, he had been a farmer in Burns for 32 years and lived in Peabody for 22 years. He also worked as a banker, bus driver and school and church custodian. He belonged to First Mennonite Church, Burns, for 54 years where he had served as Sunday school superintendent, teacher and deacon. On Nov. 22, 1945, he married Della Helen Flickinger at Moundridge. She died Sept. 3, 2001. Survivors include: a son, Don, Newton; three daughters, Barbara Richmond, Newton, Debra Windsor, Peabody, and Jennifer Brenzikofer, Carbondale, Colo.; six brothers, David, Joseph and Daniel, all of Peabody, Paul, Burns, and Silas and John, both of Newton; a sister, Esther Ott, Newton; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a two brothers, Samuel and Phillip.
  Newton Kansan - 6-7-2003: Jonathan P.I. Stucky, 83, died Friday (June 6, 2003) at Newton Medical Center.
