Note:   Plainfield GIRL IS MARRIED IN WHEATON _____________ Miss Belva Lockwood Weds Joseph Baker of Joliet _______________ Plainfield Oct. 2 -- Yesterday afternoon, at the patronage of the Presbyterian church in Wheaton, Miss Belva Lockwood, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Lockwood of Normantown and Joseph Baker of Joliet were united in marriage by the Rev. W. Shepard, pastor, at 2:30 o'clock. The young couple were accompanied by an aunt, Mrs. Almo Salvo, and Mrs. Baker was gowned in a blue silk. After the wedding, the young couple returned to the home of the brides parents in Normantown. They will make their home in Joliet, where the groom is employed on the E. J. and E. as a brakeman. Miss Lockwood has lived in Normantown practically all her life, where Mr. Lockwood has been station agent for a great many years. The groom is known to several people here is one of the trusted men of the "J". - Joliet Evening Herald-News (ILLINOIS), October 2, 1913 (Thursday), page 3 Beatrice Fishbeck, 55, Succumbs to Lingering Illness Mrs. Beatrice M Fishbeck, 55, of 614 Blackhawk street, a resident of Plainfield and Joliet for many years, died yesterday at Silver Cross hospital following a lingering illness. A daughter of the late Agnes and Carl Lockwood, she was born in McCool, Ind., in 1895. When a young girl she came to Plainfield with her family. For many years she resided there, moving to Joliet in 1919. Her husband, John, preceded her in death. Surviving are seven sons: Clifford, Paul, Alvin, and Robert Fishbeck; Oscar, Donald, and Wesley Baker; a daughter, Ruth Fishbeck; four step-sons, Jesse, Freeman, John and Raymond Fishbeck; a step daughter, Mrs. Lydia Hetfield; a brother, Carl Lockwood; and three grandchildren. Last rites will be tomorrow morning at 10:30 o'clock at the Sonntag Funeral home. The Rev. Herman Schmidt will officiate.
