a. Note:   FUNERAL SERVICESFOR MRS. ANNA FISHBECK Funeral services for the late Mrs. Anna Dowie Fishbeck were held from the family home, 715 Joliet street, Wilmington, Sunday afternoon at two o'clock. Dr. John H Williamson, pastor of the Methodist church, officiated. The duets God Will Take Care of You and Beautiful Isle of Somewhere were rendered effectively by Mrs. W. H. Whitmore and Mrs. Della Cassingham. Pall bearers were Henry Brodie, Thomas Alexander, Walter Giddings, Walter Stahl, Nye Osborn and Edward Wurtz. Internment was in the Essex cemetery. Anna Dowie was born in Kingston, Ontario, April 12, 1848. Her marriage to Freeman Fishbeck occurred in Oswego New York, in 1865. Nine children were born eight of whom survive. There are three sons, John and Samuel, of Joliet, and Robert, of Wilmington; five daughters, Miss Lydia Fishbeck, of Wilmington; Mrs. Olive Perry and Mrs. Elizabeth Rowland, of Joliet; Mrs. Ada Engels of Wilmington and Mrs. Anna Price, of Kankakee. Two brothers, John and Fred Dowie and one sister, Mrs. Eliza Glassford, of Oswego, New York, survive. There are also 20 grandchildren. Her husband passed to the other world January 20, 1908. Mrs. Fishbeck was a member of the Methodist church and Ladies Aid Society. Her death occurred Friday morning, February 5, 1926, at 10 o'clock, at the age of 77 years, 9 months and 23 days. - The Wilmington Advocate (ILLINOIS) February 12, 1926 (Friday) Page 1
