Notes
a. Note:   In 1978 the menu for Old Broadway in Fargo was printed to look like an old newspaper. On the front cover they had reprints of several articles from the Fargo Forum from 1898. The following was one of the articles they used.
The Fargo Forum and Daily Republican, May 6, 1898
There were all kinds of arrests by police last night. The police concluded that sufficient time had elapsed and began the enforcement of the bicycle ordinance. Five violators were gathered in. There were William Flatt, Wayne Eddy, Ben Sprague, N. P. Booth, and Alex Powling. The four later were fined one dollar each, and the former failed to show up at 10:00 this morning as he promised. The police will make it warm for him when found.
(It is uncomfirmed if William is the William Flatt in this story.)
