a. Note:   MRS. INMAN DIES AT HOME, MONDAY Mrs. Edith Inman, wife of Frank Inman, died at her home west of Eugene, Monday. She was born in Lane county, Oct. 11, 1857. Her maiden name was Edith Jeans, and her parents were William and Susan Jeans, pioneers who crossed the plains in 1851. She was married to Frank Inman, Oct. 21, 1877. to this union were born three children, all of whom survive. The survivors include the widower, Frank Inman; one daughter, Mrs. Elmer Caldwell of Cottage Grove; two sons, Jesse and Cary Inman, Eugene; 4 grandchildren, Lois Baker, Cecil and Ralph Inman, Eugene, and Francis Caldwell of Cottage Grove; two great grandchildren Cecil Allan Baker, and Ralph Inman, Jr. of Eugene, besides many other near relatives. Inman, Lane county native, born October 11, 1857 on present route 1 about 12 miles west of Eugene, died Monday night. Mrs. Inman was born on the farm adjacent to the place where she died. Her parents, William and Susan Jeans, crossed the plains from Missouri in 1851. Mrs. Inman was a member of the Christian church for 60 years. She was a member of the Neighbors of Woodcraft and the Degree of Honor. She was married October 21, 1877, to Frank Inman who survives. Other survivors are three children: Cary Inman and Jesse Inman, both of Eugene, and Mrs. Dorothy Caldwell, Cottage Grove. Four grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive and two brothers and a sister, Lee Jeans and Ben Jeans, both of Eugene, and Mrs. A. P. Crowe, Seattle. Funeral services will be held by the Branstetter-Simon funeral home Thursday at 1 p.m. at Elmira Christian church. Rev. I. J. Shaw of Springfield will officiate.
