THE CHEHALIS BEE-NUGETT Friday Feb 28, 1936 Chehalis Lewis Co., WA Mrs. Rose Inman, 84, DiesSaturday--Here 50 years Mrs. Rose Inman, 84, who had resided in Lewis county almost half a century, died Saturday morning at the family home in the Lacamas district southest of Napavine, following a few days illness. She was the widow of Zack Inman, who died in the spring of 1932. Mr. and Mrs. Inman, both of whom were born in Wisconsin, were married in Beloit, that state July 4, 1865. Later they lived some years in Kansas, whence they crossed the plains with a covered wagon in 1889, to make their home in Lewis county. Three sons survive the mother. These are Jack and Roy Inman of Lacamas Rt 2 Winlock, and Jess Inman of Oakville. There are also 5 daughters, Mrs. Ella Martin of Tacoma, Mrs. Kate Pickard of Kelso, Mrs. Clara Hoskinson and Mrs. Maude Vaness of Hoquien and Mrs. Florence Morton of Turlock, Calif., 34 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Cattermold Funeral Home in Winlock 1:30 Tuesday afternoon. Rev. Ted Goodwin of Chehalis officiated. Burial was in the Napavine cemetery. There was a large attendance and many floral offerings.
