Note: NANCY UNDERWOOD LANGFORD from: The News Herald, Panama City, FL, Tuesday, March 27, 2001 & Wednesday, March 28, 2001 Mrs. Nancy Underwood Langford, 69, of 5112 South Bonita Ave., Panama City, FL, went to be with her Lord on Monday, March 26, 2001, at her home. Born in Ardmore, Okla., she moved here in 1978 from Gainesville, FL She was a homemaker and a minister's wife. Mrs. Langford was a member of First Baptist Church of Panama City where her husband, Dr. N.B. Langford, was the pastor for many years until his death in 1998. She taught Sunday school, experiencing God, women's retreats and fruits of spirit, not to mention countless other bible studies. Mrs. Langford was a member of Panama City Woman's Club, St. Andrews Bay Yacht Club and Board of Directors for the Florida Baptist Children's Home and the Florida Baptist Missions Board. Mrs. Langford is survived by one daughter, Nancy Baughman and husband, Jeff of Las Vegas, Nev.; one son, Nathan Langford of Panama City; two grandsons, Jared and Jason Baughman of Las Vegas, Nev. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, March 29, at 11 a.m. in First Baptist Church of Panama City with the Rev. Steve Bass, the Rev. Robert Davis and the Rev. Craig Conner officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be the deacon's wives and the Nancy Langford Bible Study Group. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 7 to 9 p.m. Mrs. Langford was a fine Christian woman and was a mentor to many. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
