Cox 31M TN Cornelia Cox 30F W VA Amos 5M S MO Maud 3F D MO Susie 5/12F D MO OBITUARY: AMY BERTHA COX Amy Bertha, oldest child of William H., and Comelia (Holderman) Cox, was born June 6, 1875. Departed this life June 29, 1934 at the home of Marshall Nowland, south of Bosworth. She was 59 years, 23 days old; had been a sufferer rom her earliest childhood. She was always kind and submissive to those who administered to her needs and bore her surrering without a murmur. She is survived by three sisters: Mrs. Myrtle Berry of near Spokane, Washington; Inez and Maude Nowland of the home community. Her father, mother, a sister and a brother preceded her to the Great Beyond. Funeral services were held at Mt. Carmel Church Sunday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Harry A. Rolf. Interment: Mt. Carmel cemetery. ***** DEATH CLAIMS MISS AMY B. COX Funeral Services Sunday Afternoon at 2 o'clock at Mt. Carmel Church Miss Amy B. Cox, age 75 years and 23 days, passed away at the home of her sister Mrs. Marshall Nowland, nine miles northeast of Carrollton, Friday night. Miss Cox was born in that section of the county and spent her entire life there. She was the dauhter of William and Cornelia (Holdeman) Cox. Besides Mrs. Marshall Nowland she is survived by two other sisters, Mrs. Henry Nowland of the same community and Mrs. E.F. Berry, Sopkane [sic], Washington. Funeral services in her memory will be held from the Mt. Carmel church, nine miles northeast of Carrollton, Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Rolf of Tina. Interment in the church cemetery.
