Note: Buried Emanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Washington County, Tennessee Notes by coletta guthrie, a descendant: HANNAH ANTHONY a 1793 survey shows her owning 30 acres of land in washingt on co. tn. hannah and her children attended emanuel lutheran church, kno wn as the "old dutch meeting house"which was later torn down, minutes of t he church show attendance as early as sept 22, 1816. she must have be en a widow prior to that date, because the name of a husband was never not ed in 1811 she transferred ownership of her land to her son jacob...in ret urn ,he agreed to maintain her in firewood and other necessities, and up on her death to indemnify the other six children for their inheritance, ho wever ,jacob did not live lon enough to executr hannahs will.... it was se ttled by two of jacobs sons-in-law.... jonah lilburn and o.p. nelson on no v.30, 1843 she left an estste of $1,554.35....
