Note: !Susannah was married in 1858 to John Alfred Kreiser, who was killed in the Battle of Chancellorville in 1863. After that she married Henry Anspach. She had twelve children from this marriage, along with her son John Kreiser from her first marriage. Susanna was supposed to have died in Lebanon in 1921, long after her second husband Henry had passed on. This information was from information provided by Lucy Fritz, granddaughter of Susanna Howard Kreiser Anspach. Incidentaly, many of her children must have died young, since only seven were alive in 1900, per census. Susanna was only the second of Solomon Howard's children to die, since her sister Priscilla Howard Tobias had passed away in 1908. Susanna's second husband died at the turn of the century, and both of her husbands were Civil War Veterans. Susanna and her husband, Henry Anspach's tombstones are in the the old Church of God Cemetery East Hanover Township, Lebanon County, Pa. According to other information, there were only eight children: I'm not sure which is correct. Susanna's name is also sometimes given as Hauer.
