Census Mahala MOORE WINN is living in Hall County with her children.1864 Mahala MOORE WINN and her children head to Nebraska. I don't know what route they took, or if Nebraska was their goal. I do know that they showed up in 1864 in Nebraska. Zacharias T. WINN remained here for the rest of his life. I wonder if they were escaping the conflict of the Civil War.1870Fremont, Dodge, NB Fed.Census Mahala MOORE WINN and children (excluding Joseph) are on the census. There is also a William WINN that has business dealings with Zacharias in Fremont.1879 Fremont, Dodge, NB Zacharias T. WINN married Larsine K. MATHIESSEN. The witnesses on the marriage cert. are William WINN and Susan, his wife. The state census says that William & Susan have a daughter, Bertha, age 2. They are said to be from Ohio. It also says that Zacharias is from Ohio. We know he is not, but could be that some of his kin are from Ohio.1880 White Co.,GA Mahala MOORE WINN is living in Georgia with her son Joseph WINN and his wife Miriam S.______.1903 Mahala MOORE WINN died in a poorhouse and is buried in Pauper Cemetery#2, near Auburn,Gwinnett,GA.Any information on this family would be appreciated.
