Notes
a. Note:   Question as to whether her name is Anna Magdalena, as reported in Weiser "Records" (p. 146), or Maria Magdalena, as per an entry in MD German Church Records, which most often merely says "Magdalena." Or, Anna Maria Magdalena, which would answer all questions.
Note: Donald McKee, following Bennie T. Plessinger, has Jacob's wife as Julia Easterday. I believe this is from the Easterday tradition, half of which (the Christian Easterday m. Julia Blessing) has been disproved by Howard Lanham. Jacob's wife as appears in MD Ger Ch Recs, is never "Julia." Might be an echo of an ancestor (perhaps father and mother?) as witness the Nellie Eyster article in National Cyclopedia of American Biography, that claims paternal ancestors of Jacob and Eva Easterday. Howard Lanham, longtime Easterday researcher says that he has found no evidence whatever of a Julia Easterday in that generation.
