The combined ages of the seven is527 years, an average slightly better than 75 years. The Inland Empire has afamily that will put the German group to shame, with 11 members with a totalage of 813 years, an average of about 74 years, slight below the German familyin average. A family Bible proves the facts. They are children of Mr and MrsJames Boardman Robinson, former Waukon residents. Homer Kennedy is a son of oneof the family, and that makes a closer connection to this community. From thefamily Bible we find that family had 12 children, 11 still living, grouped asfollows: son born 1851; son, 1853; daughter, 1856; son, 1858; son, 1860;daughter, 1861; son, 1863; daughter, Mrs Emma Kennedy, Edwall, 1865; daughter,1867; daughter, 1871; daughter, 1872; and daughter, 1874.—Odessa Record. MrsMuriel McKee, former Harrington resident, now of Bluestem, is a daughter of MrsEmma Kennedy of Edwall, as is Mrs Cal Sawyer, mother of Miss Alma Sawyer; MrsKempken and Mrs Harry Strauss of Edwall are also daughters of Mrs Kennedy.”(Citizen: 2-25-1938)
