a. Continued:   Lynn Wixon, 75, of Milford died at his home at 6 a.m. Monday, December 18, 1978, following a long illness. Born in Galesburg on April 23, 1903, he was the son of John and Nina Wallace Wixon. He was married in Monticello on March 20, 1926 to Dorothea Rush, who survives. Survivors also include a son, John of Milford; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two brothers, Dale of Helena, Montana, and Arlo of Houston, Texas; and one sister, Mrs. Dora Greenwood of Fairfield Bay, Arkansas. A graduate of the University of Illinois, Wixon was a member of the United Methodist Church of Milford, Scottish Rites of the Danville Consistory, Milford Masonic Lodge, Hoopeston Moose Lodge and the Watseka Elks Lodge. There was no visitation. Masonic Rites were conducted Tuesday night at the Barker Funeral Home in Milford. Private family funeral services were held this afternoon (Wednesday) December 20 at the funeral home with Rev. Harold Flessner officiating.
