a. Note:   MRS. RANOLD ARMSTRONG Mrs. Ranold Armstrong died Friday morning ar 2:30 a.m. at the Monmouth hospital after a few weeks' illness.
  Helen Brown, daughter of John and Edith Wixson Brown, was born near North Henderson Jan. 5, 1907. She graduated from the Alexis high school with the class of 1925 and spent three years at Knox College.
  On Feb. 18, 1931, she was married to Ranold Armstrong. Three daughters were born to this union, Joan Ilene, Donna Mae and Virginia Fae.
  She joined the Methodist church at North Henderson when a young woman and after her marriage she transferred to the Alexis Presbyterian church. At the time of her death she was a teacher in the Sunday school.
  Funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon from the Presbyterian church at 3 o'clock with Rev. O. D. Slater of LeRoy, a former pastor, in charge, assisted by Rev. R. M. Martin.
  Music was furnished by Mrs. Alex Miller, Mrs. Earl Moore, Gunnard Lundeen and Ed Blick of North Henderson. The floral pieces were cared for by Mrs. Roy Shaver and Mrs. Forest White of North Henderson and Mrs. M. W. Johnson of Alexis.
  Burial was in the North Henderson cemetery with J. W. and H. E. Britton, M. W. Johnson, Howard Hanna, Scott Maloney and E. J.
