a. Continued:   Mrs. George Merrill who has been a patient sufferer from catarrh of the stomach for the past six years, died very suddenly at her home north of town Wednesday noon. The deceased was born in New York state coming to Michigan with her parents when a child and living always on the farm where her death took place. She was a member of the Baptist faith, living a noble and true life and was a most devoted wife and mother. Besides her husband there are seven children to mourn their loss. John and Minnie of Detroit, Herbert of Belding, Mrs. Walter Smith of this city, Pheobe, Della and George Jr. at home, and one sister, Mrs. John Odlam. The funeral will be held at the residence Saturday at 1 p.m. and interment will be made in the Croswell cemetery.
