Text: In the name of God amen: July the 16th 1727 I William Baker of Yarmouth in the county of Barnastable being ill and weak in body but of sound mind at this time thanks go to God for it Do make this last will and Testament as followeth I commend my soul to God that gave it to me and my body to the earth whereas it was to be buried after my decease at the discretion of my Executrix here after named and my will is that all my debts and funeral charges be paid after my decease out of my moveable estate.
I give unto my sons, Judah Baker, Josiah Baker, Elisha Baker, Junior Baker, Mary Smith, Darkis Chase, Experience Cash, Elizabeth Wixson, Joannah Philips and Patience Smalley five shillings a piece and to my daughter in law Dinah Young five shillings to be paid to each of them out of my moveable estate by my Executrix within one year of my decease.
And I give all the rest of my moveable estate to my loving wife Marcy Baker to be for her subsistance and at her decease to which of my children she shall see cause And the use and improvement of all my real estate during her natural life and after her decease my will is that, all my Real estate of housing and land meadows shall go equally divided between my three youngest sons above named an to such of them as shall be [ ] and lives except half an acre of my land I give to my son Judah where his house stands [ ] I do nominate and appoint my said wife, Mary Executrix to this my last will and testament In witness whereof I have here unto set my hand and seal the date above said.
