  Hi Steve and Marge:
I have been so busy that I never get a chance at work to write to anyone.
I wanted you to know that my Mother died last Friday night. She was in a nursing home for at least 12 years with Alzheimer. I knew it would come eventually, but I guess you are never really prepared for it. My mother's brother died in May and they had a memorial for him in Little Falls, MN. I guess we are going to have my mother cremated and in August, Diane, Mary Pat and Ronnie have a class reunion that they were all planning on going to. I may take a week off also, and we can have our own memorial for my mother.
What have you and Marge been up to? It sounds like you guys keep really busy. That is good because we have to enjoy life while we can.
How is Marybeth and her daughters? I haven't seen her for years. I guess you are like our family now, we don't have anyone left but each other.
Take care and I will write when I get another chance.

Hi Steve and Marge: I'm sorry to hear about Marge's aunt and Pearl's father. I feel bad for her losing her Dad so early in life. I am leaving for Wisconsin tomorrow for my mother's memorial. Diane is flying into Minneapolis tomorrow and so am I. I believe we will be on the same flight to Duluth. My mother's memorial is on Friday at St. Francis in East end. I will be back to work on Monday, August 6th.
I just wanted you to know that I would be gone but will write more when I get back.
  Take care. Kathy

Subject: Hi folks, Date: Thu, 28 Jun 2001 21:50:54 EDT From: Barawn "AT" To: Conroyh "AT"
It sure has been a long time since I heard from you. Then today I had the letter you wrote to Kathy and that was so nice I had to write to you. Her mother did not know any one for a long time, and it was a blessing as Nancy is the only one around here and she had to go all the time even in the winter and Elaine did not know her. Nancy and I were there the Wednesday before she died. At that time she could no longer swallow so they had to make her food like water and she drank it out of a glass with help. She did have a stroke some time ago, and I think that is what it did to her and it just got worse. I told Nancy that day that she was not going to be living much longer. Mary Pat had just been here and they were up to see her also, but she did not know them. But they went to see her before Mary Pat left, so she had just seen her and she was glad. So we can use all your prayers.
Thank you so much. Love you both.
