Will proved 14 Apr 1731, land to 4 eldest sons, each to pay money to remaining ten children.

"The Rocks, Home of John Blue and his descendants for Seven Generations" by David P. Brackett, Sequim, WA. "On August 17, 1749, Lot 27 was granted to John Blue (1713-1791). He lived on Lot 27 with his second wife Margaret Earle (or Keyser), with John's four sons by his first wife Mary, John, Garrett, Uriah and Michael. These four children may have been born in New Jersey or at the Lower Rocks (Lot 36). Uriah Blue (1746-1814) had married about 1771, Susannah Williams (1753-1815) the eldest daughter of Richard Williams and Susannah Peters, who lived on Lot 32, a mile downstream. Uriah and Susannah had their six children at "The Rocks"; Richard, John, Susannah, Garrett, Uriah, and Michael. Uriah Blue lived at "The Rocks" and inherited it at his father's death in 1791."
