Note: mbsheim, Palatinate, Germany. "Johann G. Loesch arrived at the age of 11 with his mother, Susannah Philippina Gering (Loesch), brother Johann Adam, and sister, Elisabetha Magdalena. The father Johan Balthaser Loesch died at sea in 1710. The mother later married Jacob Kopff and lived in the Berks Co. area of Pennsylvania."
Per Terry McAfee, Mar 1997. "In the will book F, page 279, dated 1741, Philadelphia Co., PA for Jacob Kopf of Tulpehocken is mentioned his wife Susanna and his step-children Adam and Georg Lesch, and Elisabetha Madelina Braun." This shows that Susanna, widow of Balthasar married Jacob Kopf.
The Binsheim-Gustavsburg church books record the marriage of Johan Balthasar Losch, surviving son of Hans Jacob Losch - Gemeinsmann at Trebur and Susanna, daughter of the late Hans Georg Gering - shepherd in Bischofsheim, 18 June 1694.

Lesh, Newsport, Pa.;The Palatine Families of New York, 1985, Henry Z. Jones, pages 554-557|Will: Jacob Kopf of Tulpehocken, Philadelphia Co. Will Book F, page 279, dated 1741|Biography: Following info was extracted from Henry Z. Jones book: "John Balthasar Losch, surviving s/ of Hans Jacob Losch - Gemeinsmann at Trebur, md. Susanna, d/o the late Hans Georg Gering - shepherd in Bischofsheim, 18 June 1694 (Ginsheim-Gustavsburg Chbk.). Balthasar Lesch was a Luth. inhabitant of Gimbsheim 27 Feb 1698 (Alzey Census of 1698). Balter Zeyps, his wife, and 4ch. were on Capt. Wilken's ship in the 3rd party in Holland in 1709 (Rotterdam Lists); by a close study of the juxtaposition of names near this emigrant (i.e.Johannes Joost Braun and Hendrig Matheys) with those surrounding Balzar Leschat London, it is evident that Zeyps was actually Losch (HJ). Balzar Lesch aged 38, his wife, sons aged 14, 8, and 2, a daughter aged 9, Luth., husbandman and vinedresser, were in the 3rd arrivals at London in 1709 (London Lists). Balthasar Lesch was first noted on the Hunter Lists 1 July 1710 with 2 pers.over 10 yrs. of age and 3 pers. under 10. The entry read 3 over 10 and 2 under 10 on 4 Aug 1710, and 4 pers. over 10 yrs. and 2 under 10 on 4 Oct 1710. The cumulative entry for 24 Dec 1711 recorded Susanna Leschin with 3 pers. over 10 yrs. of age and 1 pers. under 10. The will of Jacob Kopf of Tulpehocken mentions his wife Susanna and his step-children Adam and Georg Lesch, and Elisabetha Madelina braun (Philadelphia Co. Will Bk. F, p. 279, dated 1741); this shows that Susanna, wid/of Balthasar Lesch, md. 2nd Jacob Kopf (HJ)."
