Note: Name per Carol Personette Comfort, 1993. "Du Chesne Family" Author unknown. p 305. "1704, Feb 10. Valentine Dushen was licensed to marry Marie, daughter of Jacques Poillon and widow of Thomas Stillwell, Jr. In the will of her father, Nov, 1718, she is named Maria Dushesne, deceased, leaving children. We know that she had by her husband Thomas Stillwell, Jr., Nicholas, Mary and Ann Stillwell. Whether she had issue by Valentine Du Chesne I do not know. It is my impression that she died about 1709, but she may have moved to Delaware and died there at a later date. See line of Capt Thomas Stillwell."
