Elliott, 68, Brookfield, passed away Sunday, September 27,1992 at Pershing Regional Health Center, Marceline. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Park Baptist Church with Rev. Martin Barker and Rev. Dallas Williams officiating. Burial was in the Knifong Cemetery, Browning. Masonic services were held at 7:30 Tuesday evening. Memorials are suggested to the Shriners Crippled Children Fund. Harold Byron, son of Orville Milford and Olga Leah (Havens) Elliott, was born December 6,1923 in Browning. On April 20,1942 he was married to Nina Taylor in Yuma, Arizona. Mr. Elliott is survived by his wife, Nina of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Sherri Elliott, Brookfield; Dr.Shawn and Rhonda Elliott, Jefferson City; two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Donnie Laffey, Kearney; Desiree and Carter Sappington, Brookfield; seven grandchildren: Shawna, Brett, Melinda and Sean Laffey, Drew Elliott, Kristi and Taylor Sappington ;his mother-in-law, Nina Taylor, Brookfield; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Paul and Lorraine Lambert, Roselle,IL; several aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Elliott owned and operated the Elliott Jewelry and Music business in Brookfield for 33 years. He was employed by the Burlington Northern Railroad for 13 years. He was a member of the Park Baptist Church, Past President of Brookfield Lions Club, Brookfield Masonic Lodge, Tri-County Shriners, Ararat Temple AAONMS of Kansas City, Brookfield Elks, American Legion and a veteran of World War II serving in the Navy. is NOT responsible for the content of the GEDCOMs uploaded through the WorldConnect Program.
