  WENONA DELORES HAVENS "Milan Standard,Milan,Mo.,09 July,1998 3/5/5" Wenona Delores Burditt Melte Wenona Delores Burditt Melte, age 84,of Brookfield, died Sunday, July 5,1998 at Maranatha Manor. Wenona Delores, daughter of William and Laura (Long)Havens, was born September 25,1913 in Cora. She married Wayne Burditt in 1934 who preceded her in death in 1966.She later in 1981 married James Melte who preceded her in death 1989. Mrs.Melte had been a nurse at Simpson Hospital and Sullivan County Hospital in Milan. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Milan. Mrs.Melte is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Kay and Dale McFarland of LaJunta, Colorado; three grandchildren: Leslie Allen Yardley of Lake Ozark, Zia Yardley of Grand Rapids, Minnesota, and Sarena Yardley of Pueblo, Colorado; two great grandchildren, Lindsay and Lacey Yardley, Lake Ozark; several nieces and nephews; and four stepdaughters, Eva Enberg of Brookfield, Margaret Noll of Wien, Darlene Young of Warrensburg, and Linda Armstrong of Brookfield. SIXTEEN brothers and sisters also preceded her in death. A funeral services was held Tuesday, July 7,1998 at 1:30 p.m. at Wright-Baker-Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Dallas Williams officiating. Burial was in the Knifong Cemetery near Browning.
