WILSON HAVENS: "Milan Standard,Milan,Mo.,10 August,1995 3/3/3" Wilson Havens Wilson T.Havens, 80 of Route 1,Browning,died Thursday August 3,1995 at Sullivan County Memorial Hospital in Milan. The son of William Henry and Laura Long Havens, he was born July 13,1915 in Sullivan County near Milan. On January 12,1938, he married Chloe Rinehart and she preceded him in death on June 29,1975. To this marriage a daughter, Linda Thane Havens was born and she died in infancy. He later married Mabel Lambert in 1978 and she survives. Other survivors include: one stepdaughter and step-son-in-law, Sonja and Leroy Montgomery, Blue Springs; one sister, Wenona Melte, Brookfield; two step grandchildren, Judith Naylor and Tina Montgomery, both of Blue Springs; four step great grandchildren, Justin Naylor, Jennifer Naylor, Sarah Naylor and Kelsey Montgomery; several nieces and nephews. Also preceding him in death were his parents; eight sisters; and seven brothers. Wilson lived in Sullivan County most of his life. He operated a dairy farm and for several years ran an artificial insemination business retiring in 1987. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Browning. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., August 7,1995 at the First Baptist Church in Browning with Rev. Clifford Abbott and Rev. George Hess officiating. Music was provided by David and Linda Long. Internment was in the Jenkins Cemetery east of Browning. Casket bearers were Leroy Montgomery, Don Rinehart, Gilbert Hollon, Michael Lantz, Dean Spencer, and Karlos Hoerrmann. Honorary bearers were: Wendell Havens, Gene Havens, Myron Havens and Howard Havens. Wright Funeral Home in Browning was in charge of arrangements.
