ETHEL JANE HAVENS: ETHEL JANE HAVENS HEAD Ethel Jane Havens Head died at San Diego, California Monday, February 17,1975.She was born May 23, 1889,the daughter of William and Laura Long Havens in Sullivan County, Missouri near Browning. On December 15,1909 she was married to James E. Head who preceded her in death in 1952. She is survived by a son, James Donald and a daughter, Roberta Loreen Blunt, both of San Diego,Calif., seven sisters, Nellie Hubler, Anna Brown, Wenona Burdett, Eunice Swank of Brookfield; Leona Buckallew, Milan; Olga Elliott, Hazel Jones, Browning; three brothers, Phil Havens, Paris, Mo.; Hileman and Wilson Havens, Browning. Funeral service was Sunday, February 23,1975 at the Browning Baptist Church, Rev. Robert Moseley officiated. Soloist Mrs. Mary Grice sang "How Great Thou Art" and "Beyond the Sunset". Pianist was Mrs. Ila Nevins. Casketbearers were Wendell Havens, Jerry Head, Roger Head, Gary Head, Gene and Gary Havens. Internment was in the Knifong Cemetery directed by the Wade Funeral Home.
