Lone are the paths and sad the bowers, Whence thy dear smile is gone But Oh! a brighter home than ours, In heaven is now thine own. Her thoughts were all so full of us, She never could forget, And so I think that where she is she must be watching yet. Waiting till we come home to her, Anxious if we are late, Watching from Heaven's window, Leaning from Heaven's gate. Funeral services were held at the Baptist Church, at 2:30,Wednesday afternoon, June 22,1955, conducted by the pastor, Rev. D.D. Reynolds. The song service was by Mrs. Jerry Jennings and Ruth Ann Jennings, accompanied at the piano by Mrs. J.N. Neet. The flower girls were granddaughters, and the pallbearers were the grandsons. Burial was made in the Knifong Grove cemetery under the direction of the Wade Funeral Home. Card of Thanks Our heartfelt thanks to those kind friends who assisted in any way during the illness, death, and burial of our loved one. Also for the beautiful floral offerings.
