In Memory of My Beloved Husband Barney Burkett Clark Oh how lonely ‘tis here without you We miss you more everyday Tho we have your books and tapes To read and play while you’re away We tried so hard to keep you We loved you too much to part But our Father has a time for us He knows when we should depart We know you have entered there The next apartment is very near Meeting your kin gives you joy complete And all your loved ones so dear If we only could see you once And you could tell us how you are We know you may see us here For our home there, we must prepare I’m thankful for you and your love The life we had together here In the carefree days when young The happiness we had was so dear Our lovely children God gave to us Are very precious and great spirits The lovely childhood of each one Gifts and talents they did inherit We live here between two curtains We don’t remember our life before We live, and laugh and sorrow and love When parting time comes on earth we see them no more
This is our test and school to progress We walk by faith and not by sight Our Father gives us commandments To lead us back into His light We are only apart for a little while Eternity is past, present, and future We must live the law of the highest The tests and trials we must endure To have our family in heaven The goal of joy to work for Each one do their very best Our hopes and dreams to have in store We pray for guidance and faith To make our home as he desires That we will obey and progress Our many goals we try to aspire So goodbye, dear Barney, for a while Until we can meet you again We will try to be patient and wait So we will be worthy to be with you then By: Your loving wife Connie Clark Sunday February 15, 1975 is NOT responsible for the content of the GEDCOMs uploaded through the WorldConnect Program.
