a. Note:   Edwin Riethman Edwin H. Riethman, 84, 03386 County Road 30, Minster, died at 7:50 a.m. Oct. 21, 2003, at Heritage Manor Nursing Center, Minster. He was born May 4, 1918, in Minster, to Frank and Eleanora Baumer Riethman. On May 14, 1940, he married Dorothy Steinemann who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Bob (Marlene) of Dayton and Harry (Diane) of Minster; three daughters, Norma Winner, Yorkshire, Mary (Bob) Stueve, Minster, and Carol (George) Pryhuber, Danville, Calif.; a sister, Rosemary Albers, New Bremen; a brother-in-law, Ralph Gaier, Fort Loramie; a sister-in-law, Mary Riethman, Minster; 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Deceased are a son-in-law, Jack Winner; a brother, two sisters and a grandchild. He was a retired farmer and a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, St. Augustine Orphan Society, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1391, Cataract Fire Co., all of Minster. He also was a life member of the Minster Civic Association. Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Louis Schmit officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-9:30 a.m. Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster. Contributions can be made to Minster Area Life Squad.
