Note: Grace Francis Fehmer, 82, died Friday, Jan. 2, 2004 at a local hospital. She was born Dec. 13, 1921 in Corpus Christi. Grace was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Brenham. She retired from Spring Branch ISD as the cafeteria manager with 15 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Lawrence Hoelscher. Survivors include her husband of 15 years, Elo John Fehmer of Brenham; four daughters, Patsy Adams of Conroe, Jeanette Quisling of Houston, Joyce Knott and husband Charles of Brenham and Yvonne Mixon of Livingston; one son, William Eugene Fehmer and wife Karen of Houston; one sister, Otelia Shenkir of Cleburne, Texas; one brother, Danny Ranly and wife Edna of Houston; and 17 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services were held today at 10 a.m. at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home Chapel, with Father Tom Raferty officiating. Burial followed at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
