a. Note:   Herbert Rammel Herbert J. Herb Rammel, 86, 8539 Sweet Potato Ridge Road, Brookville, died Feb. 8, 2003, at his residence. He was born Feb. 25, 1916, in the Sharpsburg area, to George and Rosa Klenke Rammel. Surviving with his wife, the former Monica Sandrell, are a son, Gary (Beth) of West Milton; a daughter, Shirley (Glenn) Breig, West Milton; two sisters, Mary Jean (Peanuts) Werling, Coldwater, and Helen Aisenbrey, Fort Recovery; a brother, Fred (Delma), Fort Recovery; three sisters-in-law, Eleanor, Newtown, N.D., Irma, Englewood, and Norma, Greenville; and three grandchildren. Deceased are three brothers, Richard, Alvin and Harold, and two sisters, Rita Livingston and Irene Franck. He retired from Inland Manufacturing in 1981 after 30 years of service. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of American Legion Post 487, West Milton. Funeral Mass was Feb. 12 at St. Paul Catholic Church, Englewood, the Rev. Todd O. Grogan officiating. Burial with military rites followed at Royal Oak Gardens, Brookville.
