a. Note:   Alfred Rose Alfred L. Rose, 64, 4507 Coldwater Creek Road, Coldwater, died at 4:17 p.m. Aug. 6, 2002, at Community Hospital, Coldwater. Death was due to natural causes. He was born Aug. 15, 1937, in St. Henry, to Roman and Marie (Leistenschneider) Rose. On Oct. 8, 1960, he married Marjorie Niekamp and she survives. Also surviving are a daughter and her husband, Carolyn and Scott Walters, Oxford, and a daughter, Teresa Fark, New Bremen; a daughter-in-law and her husband, Bridget and Lenny Muhlenkamp, Trinity, Ind.; five brothers and their wives, Paul and Margaret of Dayton, Luke and Edna of Fort Recovery, Carl and Lucy of Celina, Joe and Donna of Coldwater, and Fred and Irene of St. Henry; four sisters and their husbands, Berdella and Leonard Hemmelgarn, St. Henry, Regina and Elmer Hemmelgarn, Russia, Eleanor and John Hake, Eaton, and Rita and John Schmitmeyer, Coldwater; a sister-in-law, Junita Rose, Dayton; and four grandchildren. A son, Dale, and a brother, Herman, are deceased. He was employed at Crown Equipment, New Bremen. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, where he served as an usher. He was a former member of the Coldwater Board of Education. Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Thomas Mannebach officiating. Burial will follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater. Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
