Title: 1870 Gaston Co., NC Census Note: For years with thought this Tilman Jenkins was the one who died in the Spotsylvania Courthouse Battle, and is buried in the Spotsylvania Courthouse Confederate Cemetery. But then we found this Tilman alive on the 1870 Census with his family. It turns out it was this Tilman's nephew (Son of David Jenkins and Elizabeth Hogans) , Tilman Jenkins who died in Battle. 3.
