  The Batesville Progress: Asbury York of Greenbrier Twp, shot and wounded John Elms, who came to the defense of York's wife last March; about three months ago York decided to send his wife to her mother's in Missouri; she protested; the last she was seen York was with her on the road to Cushman; no clue to the location of Mrs. York has been found. (Tuesday, Feb 18, 1890).
  Article misstated the facts in that it was Elms who shot York and not York who shot Elms. The wife of York is said to be safe and in good hands. (Wednesday, Feb 26, 1890).
