a. Note:   I have seen other dates for Elizabeth's birth (many have it as August 15, 1715), but the Stonington VR give it as "ye 25th day of August -- about one of ye Clock in ye morning, being Thursday" and Aug 25, !715 O.S. was, in fact a Thursday, so I am taking that as definitive.
