a. Note:   In the 1835 Molotschna Census entry for Gnadenheim #7, it is said he came to the Molotschna in 1827. The entry says moved to Gnadenheim from Sparrau and died in 1829. The 1835 Molotschna Census entry for Sparrau #48 says that he lived there until 1833 when he moved away. In actuality, it is his family that moved from Sparrau to Gnadenheim in 1833, not he himself. He likely died in Sparrau. The passport record says he came in 1827 from Gross Lunau, Prussia.
