a. Note:   He migrated from Krebsfelde, Prussia to Neuendorf, Chortitza Colony, S. Russia in 1789 (B. H. Unruh, p. 268, P. Rempel, p. 34). In the 1795 Chortitza Colony Census he is listed at Insel Chortitza #10 (B. H. Unruh, p. 239). By 1797 he had moved back to Neuendorf where he is listed in the 1797, 1801, and 1802 Censuses at Neuendorf #25 (B. H. Unruh, p. 255; P. Rempel, p. 34). In the 1808 Census he is listed at Neuendorf #19 (B. H. Unruh, p. 268). In the Oct 1816 Census he is listed at Neuendorf #12.
