Notes
a. Note:   In the 1808 census, he is listed at Petershagen #8, and is said to have come from Schoensee, Prussia. The 1835 census entry for Petershagen #22 says he died there in 1823. Migrated to Petershagen, Molotschna, in 1804
In the 1808 census, he is listed at Petershagen #8, and is said to have come from Schoensee, Prussia. The 1835 Molotschna Census entry for Petershagen #22 says he died there in 1823. Migrated to Petershagen, Molotschna, in 1804. However, this is inconsistent with his entry in the Mennonite Encyclopedia that says his son Cornelius was elected minister in the Old Colony in 1805, then followed Klaas Reimer to Molotschna.
