a. Note:   His Gregorian calender birth date was 1 Aug 1813. In the Mountain Lake records he is not listed with any wives or children, but in the Bergthal records he is listed with his 2 wives and with 10 children (21A). From Bergthal Colony. Moved To Minnesota. His age is not given in the 1814 Chortitza Colony vaccination lists, but he was likely born ca 1809-1814. Ron Siemens (Bragg Creek, Alberta) note: "First Oberschulze of the Bergthal Colony - MFH, April 1997, Schoenweise Part 2, page 70 by H. Schapansky. PETERS 157788 Mountain Lake records have no family listed but Bergthal Gemeinde Buch (A21) lists his two wives and 10 children. PETERS has birth date as Aug. 1, 1813 (European?). He moved from Bergthal to Minnesota."
