a. Note:   In the 1795 Chortitza Colony Census he is listed at Kronsweide #3 with his brother Franz (B. H. Unruh, p. 242). In the 1801 List of People who were not Homeowners he is listed as residing in Kronsweide, but he is not listed in the Sep 1801 Chortitza Colony Census. In the 1806 Census he is listed in Kronsweide (P. Rempel, p. 23) but by 1809 he had moved to Burwalde where he was residing per the 1809 Chortitza Colony Vaccination Lists. In the 1814 Census he is listed at Kronsthal #5 (B. H. Unruh, p. 285). Some sources call him Baumann.
