a. Note:   Esther Kasdorf was baptized in 1760 Ladekop Mennonite Gemeinde. Esther was a sister of Isaac Kasdorf (b. 1795), also an immigrant to Russia in 1788.
  She likely died between 1802 and 1808 as she is listed in the 1802 census, but Gerhard Neufeld had remarried and had a 2 year old son by the 1808 census. Her age is given as 60 in the 1801 Chortitza Colony Census, which is apparently incorrect.
